Documenting the 2009 Presidential Inauguration
With the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama days away, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation-funded Citizen Media Law Project has compiled an information guide for journalists — professional or amateur — interested in documenting the event. The guide provides information on security measures, credentialing requirements, equipment restrictions, and what to do if confronted by police. The guide also includes links to related resources and a map of inaugural events.
