Big Ideas for Children: Investing in Our Nation's Future
According to a new report from child and family advocacy organization First Focus, the American public, for the first time, believes that the next generation of Americans is unlikely to fare as well as its parents' generation. Funded by Casey Family Programs, the Pew Charitable Trusts, and the Joyce and Kellogg foundations, the report, Big Ideas for Children: Investing in Our Nation's Future (242 pages, PDF), examines the ways in which poverty, health care, early childhood development, education, and safety impact children and calls for creative solutions that once again make young people a priority at the federal level.
