Project Reach Out Guide
In collaboration with the U.S. Department of Labor, Seedco launched Project Reach Out in 2005 to strengthen the ability of workforce investment boards (WIBs) and One-Stop Career Center operators to forge relationships with local faith-based and community organizations (FBCOs). Today, that network includes financial and non-financial partners that provide workforce services to thousands of job seekers facing significant employment and retention barriers. Seedco recently released the Project Reach Out Guide (40 pages, PDF) to provide guidance and tools for other WIBs and One-Stop operators interested in developing and implementing their own FBCO network. The guide also highlights the conditions that contribute to a successful partnership as well as factors that can hamper efforts to build an FBCO network.
