Media and Values: Issues of Content, Community and Intellectual Property
The Aspen Institute's 2007 Forum on Communications and Society set out to explore the societal impact of the digital revolution and ended up focusing on the theme of media and values. The report from the conference, Media and Values: Issues of Content, Community and Intellectual Property (96 pages, PDF), discusses the ways in which a changing media landscape affects the ability of communities to govern themselves and alters people's concepts of intellectual property. The report also includes a set of recommendations for copyright "fair use."
