National Volunteer Week 2008
Coordinated by the Points of Light & Hands On Network and sponsored by Target, National Volunteer Week, April 27 - May 3, promotes the theme "Volunteer to Change the World." The Hands On Network offers a resource guide (24 pages, PDF) on its Web site for those interested in participating in the week's activities that includes media outreach tips, a fact sheet, and a volunteer registration form, as well as information on how to engage one's community and recognize and thank volunteers.
