Arts & Culture: Spirit of LA
The California Community Foundation's 2007 annual report celebrates the theme of arts and culture in diverse communities. The report, Arts & Culture: Spirit of LA (59 pages, PDF), examines the ways in which the arts help strengthen the multi-ethnic greater Los Angeles area. In partnership with some of its affiliate funds, including the J. Paul Getty Trust Fund for the Visual Arts, the Brody Arts Fund, the Atlass Fund, and the Joan Palevsky Endowment for the Future of Los Angeles, CCF has supported the local arts community for ninety years, and in 2008 will establish an Arts & Culture Fund specifically to raise funds for the arts.
