National Poetry Map
The Academy of American Poets has expanded and redesigned the interactive National Poetry Map, a Web site that highlights local poets and historical landmarks, festivals, conferences, literary journals and presses, bookstores, writing programs, and more. Funded in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, the map also lists famous and lesser-known poems about each of the nation's fifty states as well as Washington, D.C.
