Public Attitudes on K-12 School Funding in Ohio: The System is Broken and Needs to be Fixed The KnowledgeWorks Foundation, Ohio's largest education philanthropy, has released a statewide survey of Ohio voters' attitudes on K-12 school funding. The study, Public Attitudes on K-12 School Funding in Ohio: The System Is Broken and Needs to Be Fixed, found that the public supports most K-12 school funding proposals made by Governor Ted Strickland, believing that the state system of funding public schools is broken and needs to be fixed. In March 2007, the Strickland administration submitted several proposals to the Ohio General Assembly to address the problem.
