According to a new report from OSI's Public Health Watch, the United States needs to develop what it requires of other nations it supports in the fight against AIDS: a national plan that provides a road map to achieving equitable results. The report, Improving Outcomes: Blueprint for a National AIDS Plan for the United States (32 pages, PDF), offers a number of concrete recommendations designed to reduce HIV infection rates, increase access to AIDS-related care, and eliminate racial disparities in HIV/AIDS treatment.
