Improving Education in Ohio
According to Education for Ohio's Future, a new report from the Ohio Grantmakers Forum, more seamless transitions from preschool to higher education are required to overcome the achievement gap between African-American and white students and remedy problems of access and affordability in the state's education system. The report offers a series of recommendations designed to improve the effectiveness of education policy and grantmaking and to engage communities in the process of education reform.
