AIDS in Blackface: 25 Years of an Epidemic (88 pages, PDF) examines successes and failures in combatting the disease and its impact on African Americans. Published by the Black AIDS Institute with funding from Broadway Cares/Equity Fight AIDS, the Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund, the California Endowment, and the Ford, Gill, and Allstate foundations, the report calls for an expansion of proven prevention efforts, protection of access to treatment, and an end to the stigma of HIV.
