Minnesota Early Childhood Initiative
A new report from the McKnight Foundation's Minnesota Early Childhood Initiative details how six Minnesota foundations built partnerships to support early education outreach, business relationship building, parenting education, childcare provider training, and advocacy initiatives to better prepare children for kindergarten. Supporting Minnesota's Youngest Citizens: Lessons Learned 2003-2006 also provides examples of programs that connect organizations to new opportunities and resources in their community and offers recommendations for developing community-based coalitions.
