MLK's Racial and Social Justice Legacy — A Curriculum for Empowerment Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Legacy of Racial and Social Justice: A Curriculum for Empowerment provides teachers with tools designed to build students' knowledge of the civil rights movement and help them compare present-day realities to past struggles for justice throughout America and the world. Developed for the MLK National Historic Site by the Alonzo Crim Center for Excellence in Urban Education at Georgia State University, the curriculum includes guides for teachers, lessons plans by grade level, and a problem-solution project.
