Tackling Health Inequalities Through Public Health Practice Tackling Health Inequalities Through Public Health Practice (252 pages, PDF), a new publication from the National Association of County & City Health Officials and the Ingham County (MI) Health Department, suggests a variety of approaches for transforming public health practice, public health departmental structures, and social conditions that contribute to inequities in health practices. Funded in part by the Kellogg Foundation, the publication offers case studies and a conceptual framework to help local health departments tackle these challenges from a social justice perspective.
