Moving Forward on Rebuilding East Biloxi
As part of its Gulf Coast Initiative, Living Cities is working to develop the economy of and revitalize neighborhoods in East Biloxi, Mississippi. Prepared with support from the Knight Foundation, the Mississippi Development Authority, and area businesses, Moving Forward: Recommendations for Rebuilding East Biloxi (66 pages, PDF) proposes the expansion of tourism and entertainment-related industries, providing more affordable housing for residents, renewing the downtown area, and creating more open space and access to the waterfront.
