Perceptions of Libraries and Information Resources Perceptions of Libraries and Information Resources (introduction, 18 pages, PDF; full document, 290 pages, PDF) summarizes the results of an international study that examined 3,348 people about their information-seeking habits and preferences. Among its key findings, the report suggests that information consumers trust libraries as reliable sources but view them mostly as places to borrow books rather than as resources for electronic content. Published by the Online Computer Library Center, the report also discusses library branding and includes respondents' advice to libraries.
