The report, which was published by Funders for Lesbian and Gay Issues, a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to advocate for increased support of LGBT issues within organized philanthropy, also describes the promising practices of community-based groups working to aid LGBT elders and profiles a variety of funders who have supported programs designed to meet the needs of this vulnerable group.
