The Great American Eat Right Challenge
One-third of the nation's projected 564,830 cancer deaths in 2006 will be attributable to poor nutrition, physical inactivity, and being overweight or obese. The American Cancer Society has just launched the Great American Eat Right Challenge to alert people to the link between obesity and cancer. Co-sponsored by Weight Watchers, the Grain Foods Foundation, and Quest Diagnostics, the year-round campaign will provide practical advice and a range of interactive tools for people interested in adopting healthy eating habits.
