IRS Updates Filing Information for Nonprofits
The Internal Revenue Service has updated the Charities and Nonprofits section of its Web site, which now includes downloadable 2005 tax forms, tips on electronic filing, information about vehicle donations, top tax scams (see no. 9), and speeches relevant to tax-exempt organizations by IRS officials. The site also supplies links to each state government's Web site with information for tax-exempt groups, and a new user-fee schedule for 2006.
