State of the States 2006
State of the States 2006 (63 pages, PDF), the sixth annual report from Stateline.org, a project of the Pew Research Center, focuses on public policy choices in areas such as aging, taxes, health care, homeland security, education, immigration, and energy and how those choices are likely to affect people at the state level in 2006. The report also features profiles of new governors, a variety of maps, and a pull-out reference poster with important state dates and political party information.
