Web Site Supports NYC Schoolchildren
New York City K-12 students can get round-the-clock study help from homeworkNYC.org, a Web site created by a team of librarians and educators from the city's three library systems. Gleaned from many sources, information on the site covers a range of topics and disciplines, including math, science, history, government, language arts, music and art, religion and mythology, geography, and health. The Web site was developed in partnership with the New York City Department of Education, with support from the Wallace Foundation as part of its Learning in Libraries initiative.
