Connections - Guides to Public Art Exhibit for Teachers and Students
British artist Julian Opie's mixed media exhibit Animals, Buildings, Cars, and People, a public-space project organized by the Public Art Fund and sponsored by Forest City Ratner Companies, has attracted attention in City Hall Park in New York City for the past year. The exhibit has recently been extended into January 2006, after which information about it will be offered through the fund's online archive, along with a downloadable companion guide (4 pages, PDF) and a resource guide (6 pages, PDF) for teachers and students. Information about other Public Art Fund projects are posted on the fund's Web site, along with information about the artists and the projects' sponsors.
