Voices of Youth UNICEF Forum
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) created Voices of Youth, a safe, supportive Web site for children and adolescents around the world, to enable young people from different cultures to explore, discuss, and partner on global issues important to them. Through substantive participation with their peers, visitors to the site are taught cultural awareness, leadership and community-building skills, and critical thinking. Accessible in English, French, and Spanish, the site also provides interactive games, polls, message boards, and stories about real children who are taking action in their communities, as well as links to a resource list and a bimonthly newsletter, What Youth Are Saying, filled with articles, interviews, photography, art, and commentary by youth from five continents.
