Girls Interested in Math and Science
BrainCake — the official Web site of the Girls Math and Science Partnership, a project of Family Communications in Pittsburgh — is an online resource for girls interested in math and science. Membership is free by registering online and affords the more than 1,200 participants access to information about scholarships, mentors, and links to games, careers, and biographies of outstanding women in math and science. BrainCake is funded by the Heinz Endowments, the Alcoa Foundation, Carnegie Mellon University, and the National Science Foundation.
