"Symposium on Scaling Social Impact 2012" Social Impact Exchange
- June 12, 2012
Museum of Jewish Heritage

Conference Calendar - Social Impact Exchange's Social Impact Exchange
Many nonprofit organizations are facing the decision of how and when to expand their reach, to take their social solutions to greater numbers of people. In like fashion, grantmakers and individual philanthropists are interested in learning more about scaling high-impact nonprofit initiatives, and how they might support this work. There are many ways to achieve scaled impact — from replicating programs in new locations to developing breakthrough products and services; from scaling policy initiatives and social movements to online expansions through the use of toolkits and platforms. And there are other types of expansions too that include knowledge sharing, network building and collaborations.
This afternoon symposium will provide opportunities for nonprofit organizations, funders, professional service providers, and academics to:
- Witness the final round of the Social Impact Exchange’s 2012 Business
- Gain insight from nonprofits and their funders engaged together in
- Participate in one-on-one consultations to develop knowledge and skills
for scaling impact
- Hear about a new cross-sector collaboration: the Initiative for Nonprofit
Talent and Leadership
- Network with your peers, of course!
The symposium will be held at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Battery Park (36 Battery Place, New York City). The fee for registration is $85.00.
