"Corporate Philanthropy Summit" — Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy

More than 200 of the most senior-level corporate giving professionals representing the largest firms in the world are coming together to learn how to capitalize on the latest social innovation trends and business strategies. The Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy’s (CECP) annual Corporate Philanthropy Summit–an intimate gathering where participants learn how to deepen the impact of their corporate giving programs—will be held June 5-6, 2012 in New York City. Participants will learn from leading media and community activists—including Newark Mayor Cory Booker and Huffington Post Media Group President and Editor-in-Chief Arianna Huffington—as well as their corporate giving peers, about the practices and solutions they can implement through their companies’ giving programs.

This year's conference will focus on the courageous conversations companies lead as they carry out their programs benefiting communities around the globe. Attendees will hear from public officials, CEOs and presidents of global companies, major foundation presidents and others on a range of front-page issues, from impact investing, to skills-based volunteering, to measurement, to partnerships, to reputation management, to social media.
