Foundation Description:
The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation is an independent philanthropy, but exists primarily an operating organization that develops and implements its own communications and research programs often in partnership with outside organizations. The Foundation contracts with a wide range of outside individuals and organizations through its programs and also continues to make a small number of grants for unsolicited proposals each year. The foundation focuses its research in three main areas: Health Policy, Media and Public Education, and Health and Development in South Africa.

The well-designed home page of the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation displays a wealth of information on the organizations various research reports on a variety of topics. A drop-down menu allows visitors to easily find and navigate to any area of the site.
Outstanding Feature:
