Mission:
The Nonprofit Research Fund seeks to "enhance both the quantity and quality of nonprofit research by increasing the legitimacy and visibility of nonprofit scholarship; encouraging new investments in sector research; supporting the exploration of tough, neglected questions; and enlarging the number of creative scholars and practitioners interested in pursuing nonprofit studies."
Purpose of Site:
To serve as an extension of the organization and provide recent studies, reports, press releases, and other useful information on philanthropy and nonprofit news and happenings.

Foundation Description:
The Nonprofit Research Fund, founded by the Aspen Institute in 1991, works to expand knowledge of the nonprofit sector, improve practices within the sector, and inform public policy on related topics.
