The Milken Family Foundation, founded in 1982 by brothers Lowell and Michael
Milken, supports projects in education and medicine. The foundation's best known initiative is
the National Educator Awards program, which recognizes and rewards outstanding educators with unrestricted financial rewards of $25,000.
