Special Events Fundraising: Getting the Most From Your Efforts
New York
Thursday, February 5, 2009
9:15-11:45 am
Free Admission
Registration Closed
Presented in collaboration with Cause Effective: Nonprofit Resource Development Center.
Special events can raise money, introduce new donors to your work, convince your organization's current donors to upgrade their gifts, get board members and supporters involved in bringing in new prospects, as well as help your organization recognize major givers and attract new board members.
Conversely, we've all been to events where "We didn't raise any money but everyone had a good time." The key to success is knowing what you want to accomplish and being clear how each element of the event's preparation and program will add to your fundraising return - especially important in the current economic climate.
Join us for this opportunity to learn from experts and to assess and improve your organization's fundraising return from special events. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.
This program is offered free of charge, but we ask that you register in advance. Space is limited. Please arrive on time, or your seat may be given away to others who are waiting to attend.
