A special "Funding for Education Month" program.

As part of "Funding for Education Month" in June, the Foundation Center is pleased to present a special program with Laura Fredricks, author of The Ask: How to Ask Anyone for Any Amount for Any Purpose.

With scarce resources, and people wondering when and if they can give, there are proven techniques on how any size institution can raise money now for education. Come hear Laura Fredricks share her success stories and case studies to learn how your organization can raise money now. This presentation will focus on how to identify, cultivate, ask, follow through, and steward major gifts.

About the Presenter
Laura Fredricks, JD, LLC is a consultant and motivational speaker for business and nonprofits. She is the author of Developing Major Gifts (Aspen Publishers) and The Ask (John Wiley & Sons). Formerly, she was VP for Philanthropy at Pace University, where she raised $92 m in six years, and Associate VP for Development at Temple University overseeing 15 schools and colleges, 2 hospitals, and the athletic department, preparing Temple for its $300 million capital campaign.
