Free
90 minutes
The Foundation Center's web site is your gateway to philanthropy, but it contains so much information that it's easy to lose your way. This 90-minute, hands-on session will introduce you to the resources available on our site and show you how to get the most out of them.
Learn about the site's grantmaker and grant search capabilities, the rich content of our FAQs and tutorials, and how to access and understand a foundation's 990-PF. We'll also explore the Catalog of Nonprofit Literature, the Foundation Center's online public access catalog and searchable bibliographic database, which can help you plumb the depths of our library collection of books and articles on such topics as fundraising ethics, nonprofit management, proposal writing, and international philanthropy.
