The Foundation Center Introduces Philanthropy News Digest Classifieds
New feature guides nonprofits to host of products and services
New York, NY, February 7, 2002. The Foundation Center has just launched a brand new feature in its popular online news journal, Philanthropy News Digest, which puts nonprofit professionals in touch with a wide array of products and services tailored to the nonprofit sector. Visitors to the Center's Web site can now search through PND Classifieds to find information about consultants, proposal writers, Web site designers, software providers, education and training services, nonprofit employment specialists,
and more.
"Thousands of grantseekers, grantmakers, and other nonprofit executives already rely on PND for a wide range of sector-related news and information," said Mitch Nauffts, Publisher and Editorial Director of Philanthropy News Digest. "The Classifieds are another step in that direction, bringing together in one place a growing list of service providers that can help nonprofit organizations achieve their goals."
Companies listed in the Classifieds are organized by product categories for easy access. Each listing features full contact information with hyperlinks to e-mail and Web site addresses. Descriptive information is provided for each company to give nonprofits perusing the listings an introduction to the company's products, services and, in many cases, background on the company's leadership and specific areas of expertise.
Many nonprofit organizations offer fee-based products and services geared to other nonprofits. For these organizations, as well as for for-profit companies looking to maximize their advertising budgets, the 6- and 12-month listing options offer a low-cost solution for reaching those audiences.
