Salmon Family Foundation

PURPOSE

The focus of the Salomon Family Foundation is the treatment of child abuse, with special emphasis on sexual abuse. At this time, the Foundation wishes to support programs that provide the intensive and extensive treatment needed. Only through effective treatment can we expect a more loving person to emerge, breaking the cycle of abuse.

The Foundation intends to fund organizations with established expertise in the field of child abuse treatment. We invite proposals that present innovative approaches to the problem or reach families where abuse tends to remain hidden. Special preference will be given to programs that address treatment of the whole family.

The Foundation requires economic stability and programmatic success, as documented by past results. Organizations that apply for grants must provide convincing evidence that their credibility with, and particular understanding of, the clients and communities served.
