The mission of the Howard and Geraldine Polinger Family Foundation is to improve the quality of life for families and their communities through support of innovative projects and successful ongoing programs.

The Trustees are particularly interested in programs that preserve and strengthen Jewish life and the Jewish People, provide access to and appreciation of performing arts, and enhance the well-being of families. Grants in the latter two categories are made primarily in Washington D.C. and Montgomery County, Maryland. For grants serving the Jewish community, support may be provided to local, national, and/or international organizations.
