The mission of the Howard and Geraldine Polinger Family Foundation is to improve the quality of life for families and their communities through support of innovative projects and successful ongoing programs.

The trustees are particularly interested in programs that enhance the well being of families, provide access to and appreciation of performing arts, and preserve and strengthen Jewish life and the Jewish people. Grants in the first two categories are made primarily in Washington D.C. and Montgomery County, Maryland. For grants serving the Jewish community, the Foundation may initiate support for a limited number of local, national and/or international organizations.
