2008 GRANT FOR THE KORNFELD PROGRAM IN BIOETHICS AND PATIENT CARE AT THE GREENWALL FOUNDATION
In 2007, the Kornfeld Foundation awarded a five-year $1,000,000 grant to The Greenwall Foundation to administer a research program in bioethics focused on the ethical issues that arise from treating individuals dealing with serious illness. The mission of this effort is to conduct evidence-based research that will identify practical, rather than theoretical, ethical issues and that will improve care for patients on an individual level.
