Established in 1958 by Fred Gellert, a prominent San Francisco Bay area developer, home builder and philanthropist, the Fred Gellert Family Foundation funds innovative programs that encourage a sustainable quality of life for present and future generations.

Grants are awarded to non-profit, tax-exempt organizations focused on the arts and humanities, education, health, the environment, and social services. Our primary focus is with San Francisco Bay area organizations that encourage collaboration and coalition building seeking a better world for our children.
