GRANTEE REPORTING REQUIREMENTS
Reporting Online

On-line reporting is for
General Fund grantees only.

PLEASE NOTE: The O.P. and W.E. Edwards Foundation has moved its reporting process on-line. While we will still be accepting annual grant reports, whole or in part, via the mail and email, we encourage you to use on-line reporting in an effort to cut down on paper use and streamline the granting and tracking process.

The report should describe the progress you have made toward achieving the purposes for which the grant was made and indicate expenditures made from the granted funds. The on-line report form should help you in providing this information to us.

We require an annual grant report within thirteen months of the date your grant was made. You may submit a report before this date, of course, if the purpose for which the grant was awarded as been achieved and the granted funds have been spent (or will be spent within a reasonable period of time that may be projected in the report. Please remember that annual grant reports must be received before additional funds for the same purpose or the next installment of multi-year grants can be released.

The system is not currently set up to accept mid-year or other progress reports unless required in the conditions of your grant. If you would like to submit a report in addition to the annual grant report, please feel free to email or mail it to us. We will be accepting reports via the web for those grants awarded in January 2009 or later. If you were awarded a grant previous to this, please submit your annual grant report for that grant via mail or email as in the past.

Reports for the Arts, Astronomy and Environmental Funds should be submitted directly to the donor as requested.

The reporting process is as follows:

  • Please make sure to read all of the instructions carefully.

  • Go to our website at http://foundationcenter.org/grantmaker/edwards/ and click on the reporting link.

  • Log in with your username and password established during the on-line application process. (If you did not submit an application on-line we will give you a username and password)

  • Information on your grant can be found on the Application Status Page including the date that the annual grant report is due.

  • To fill out your report click on the Complete button next the applicable grant on the Application Status Page.

  • Fill in the report requirements to the best of your ability. Remember to save your work often. There are two reporting forms, a short form for grants of $5000 or less and a longer form for grants over $5000. We have already selected the form you should use for your grant.

  • If you have additional items you would like to submit via mail or email such as pictures, newsletters, drawings, annual reports, etc., please indicate that in the report and send them in.

  • When you have completed the report, submit it.

  • Please note additional material is required for multi-year grants. This should be submitted at the bottom of the grant report in the section noted.
