Gwendolyn J. Elliott
1944 – 2007

Retired Commander Gwendolyn J. Elliott (center) was a leader in the effort to create and staff the Family Activity Center at the  Allegeheny County Jail. Many of the Center’s volunteers are donating their time and energy because Gwen asked them to. The Family Activity Center and Gwen’s Girls, the agency she founded, are testaments to the love, compassion, and wisdom she gave in such great measure to this community and to all who knew her.
