Health Needs Assessment

SUMMARY OF ASSESSMENT

This 2001 health and wellness needs assessment for the Ohio counties of Holmes, Stark, Tuscarawas, and Wayne is a revision and update to the original assessment completed in August of 1997. This three-phase report provides:

  • An environmental scan of insurance coverage, mental health, dental, vision, and hearing needs; updated demographic information with census 2000 data; and a review of research studies.
  • Results of a telephone survey of the general population.
  • Results of a mail survey of social service agencies.
