Program description

Is your nonprofit group ready to incorporate and become a 501(c) (3) organization, eligible to receive tax deductible contributions? Learn the answer to this critical question and find out how to draft the certificate of incorporation, hold organizational meetings, adopt bylaws, and apply to the Internal Revenue Service for 501(c) (3) status.

Stephen Falla Riff

Stephen Falla Riff is a graduate of the Rutgers University School of Law where he was an articles editor for the Women's Rights Law Reporter and editor-in-chief of the Rutgers Law Record. Mr. Riff is now a senior staff attorney with the Legal Aid Society's Community Development Project where he represents low-income small businesses, community-based nonprofit organizations, and groups that develop and preserve low-income housing. Mr. Riff is a frequent speaker at seminars and workshops for the bar and for the general public.
