How can I find foundations that accept proposals online?
For the last few years, several foundations have experimented with accepting proposals and letters of inquiry online, in an effort to see if this could streamline the grantmaking process. The Verizon Foundation, for instance, now only accepts electronic proposals through its Apply Online process. Others take letters of inquiry over the Internet while still requiring a hard copy proposal.
When using The Foundation Directory Online, enter the term "online application" (with the quotation marks) in the Keyword or Text Search field.
You could also try searching our Catalog of Nonprofit Literature (CNL) searching on the subject "Fundraising-computer aided" or by using the term "online applications" in the keyword field.
