Where can I find examples of policies, procedures, and guidelines for fiscal sponsorship agreements on the Web?

If you would like to see an example of fiscal sponsorship, policies, procedures and guidelines, the following sites may be useful:

• New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) offers guidelines and a downloadable application form for individual artists, collaborative artists' projects and emerging arts organizations of all disciplines.

• Women Make Movies has a fiscal sponsorship program with its guidelines posted on its site.

• The Bay Area Video Coalition has guidelines and an application form online.

• Silk, Adler & Colvin's Web site has samples of fiscal sponsorship agreements (under "Forms/Exemplars").

• The International Documentary Association has a fiscal sponsorship program for its members. Information on the program and how to apply are included.

• New York City's Downtown Community TV offers terms of sponsorship and application information.

• The Image Film and Video Center has guidelines and an electronic application form for its fiscal sponsorship program.

• The Agape Foundation has fiscal sponsorship guidelines and application procedures posted on its site.

• Fractured Atlas "provides services, resources, and support to liberate a nation of artists," including information on its fiscal sponsorship program.

For books and articles on fiscal sponsorship, try searching our Catalog of Nonprofit Literature (CNL), the Center's bibliographic database. You could start searching on the subject "Sponsors" with the keyword "Fiscal".

Many of the books and articles found through CNL can be located in Center Libraries and Cooperating Collections. It is best to call ahead to verify a specific library's holdings. All articles, but not books, can be obtained through interlibrary loan at your local Cooperating Collection.
