Whatever place in the education continuum your interests and investments may lie, there is something significant happening at the Federal Level and we want to make sure you are informed and engaged. From the Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge, to this year's Investing in Innovation (i3) (applications due August 2!) and Promise Neighborhoods grant competitions, there are multiple initiatives under way that dovetail with many of your grants and programs. The Secretary discusses these current initiatives, the key differences from last year's programs, and the major challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for states and districts.
