If you are new to proposal writing, you may be wondering:

Proposal Writing Basics, an introductory overview of the process for new proposal writers, will give you some answers!

This class will also feature an introduction to the Foundation Center's comprehensive Web subscription database, Foundation Directory Online Professional. We will teach you how to:

  • Create customized searches to develop targeted lists of foundations that will match your organization's funding needs
  • Search grants made by top funders
  • Run full-text, keyword searches of tax returns
  • Maximize search results with insider tips and strategies for mining the database
