Funding the Big Stuff: How Seemingly Small Gifts Make Great Change
Friday, July 18, 2008
12:00 - 1:00pm
Individual donors and small foundations don’t always have significant resources to donate,
but they still expect significant results.
This session will examine how small grants can have great impact --
from the perspective of both grantmaker and grantseeker. It will describe options
smaller grantmakers have to stretch their dollar, ideas for how you can position small funding
opportunities to yield large results, and examples of small grants that have made significant change.
About the Presenter:
Kris Putnam-Walkerly, MSW, has worked with and advised foundations and non-profit organizations since 1990.

Putnam Community Investment Consulting, Inc., which helps foundations and nonprofits assess need, develop effective programs, align organizational strategies,
