Spotlight on Economic Development Grantmaking in Ohio

In 2005, 64 foundations gave $24.6 million in economic development grants to Ohio recipients, according to Spotlight on Economic Development Grantmaking in Ohio. This report includes statistical charts and data tables drawn from the Foundation Center's annual grants sample, lists of top grantmakers and recipients, and profiles of two unique Ohio grantmakers, the Fund for Our Economic Future and the Generation Foundation.

  • The Foundation Center Receives Honor for Outstanding Achievement from the Senate of the State of Ohio

    Special recognition was extended to the Foundation Center for its contributions to the arts through its annual Funding For Arts Month programming, made possible in 2006 in part by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
