Developing Program Logic Models

Atlanta

Join us for a workshop on program logic models—simple diagrams that can help you in evaluation and planning.

Free
3 hours 30 minutes

Do you want to learn how to:

  • Identify key components of a program logic model
  • Discover how logic models can help in evaluation and planning
  • Construct simple logic models for an organization

Logic models are simple diagrams about your program which can help you gain clarity and consensus on activities, outcomes and where to focus your strategy. You'll get a chance to develop logic models in class for some simple cases, and then use those models to identify stakeholder expectations and set a focus for an evaluation plan.

The speaker, Tom Chapel, is an Evaluation Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where he serves as a resource on strategic planning and program evaluation for CDC programs and their partners. He is active in the American Evaluation Association at the national and local level as a trainer and resource on logic modeling, program evaluation, and strategic planning.
