Logic models are simple diagrams about your program which can help you gain clarity and consensus on activities, outcomes and where to focus your strategy. You'll get a chance to develop logic models in class for some simple cases, and then use those models to identify stakeholder expectations and set a focus for an evaluation plan. The speaker, Tom Chapel, is an Evaluation Scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention where he serves as a resource on strategic planning and program evaluation for CDC programs and their partners. He is active in the American Evaluation Association at the national and local level as a trainer and resource on logic modeling, program evaluation, and strategic planning.
