Mission: FRAME-Works (Family Relationships Anchored in Marriage Education-Works) is a free program designed by Bethany Christian Services to help unmarried, expectant or new parents who live in Metro-Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia, strengthen their relationship as a couple and prepare for parenting.

About the Organization: Bethany Christian Services is an agency which has been concerned about the wellbeing of children and families for more than 60 years. With more than 70 offices nationally and internationally, Bethany’s services include domestic, international and state funded adoptions, birthparent services, and therapeutic services. Bethany is a not-for-profit, pro-life, Christian adoption and family services agency, supported through reimbursement for services and gifts received from individuals, churches, corporations, and foundations. Funding for the FRAME-Works program was provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Grant: 90-FE-0057.

How the Program Works: The FRAME-Works program includes free, fun-filled weekend events in the Metro Atlanta area and Columbus, Georgia. Each two-day weekend event includes information on strengthening relationships, improving communication, problem solving, trust, marriage, and resolving conflicts. The program also provides 6 months of follow-up support addressing each couple’s specific needs including parenting skills, financial planning, relationship skills, and referral services to community organizations.

Every month, the "Spotlight On" highlights the activities of a different 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving the Southeast region defined as Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, with a special emphasis on Georgia. The selection of organizations for the "Spotlight On" is based on criteria such as programmatic interests, geographic focus, and size, to ensure the broadest possible representation of the region's nonprofit sector.

If you'd like to see your NPO in the "Spotlight," e-mail a description of your organization, following the above format, to atweb@foundationcenter.org, with "Spotlight Submission" in the subject line.
